TOMORROW ISN’T PROMISED

We sometimes fail to realize that time is the most valuable “thing” we have. It is the most valuable possession and it is the most valuable gift you can give someone. Spending time with our family and friends and creating wonderful memories are what makes our life worth living. Our family and our friends are our greatest treasures and they are who we should always give our time.

Materialistic items have become very important in our lives–in each part of our lives. We use devices to stay connected to the world. We drive our nice cars and live in nice homes with the biggest TVs, the coziest beds, all the modern conveniences in our kitchens, and so on. But don’t forget that those things are not your most valuable treasures. Your treasures are those people who live in your home or who walk through it or who are traveling life’s journey with you.

To all my family and friends: I just wanted to tell you I Love You because yesterday is gone, today will be over soon and tomorrow isn’t promised.

Because our family and friends, for the most part, are a constant presence in our life, we never stop to think what our lives would be like without them. One day all our family and friends are happy and healthy and the next day you learn of a family member’s terminal health diagnosis. One day a friend you talk to on the phone sounds normal and happy and the next day you learn that she passed away overnight. It really happens just like that.

Cherish every single moment and never take any one of your family and friends for granted. Take a few seconds and think about every single person who is precious to you, who you love and who makes your life happy.

Le them know that you love them. As soon as you can. Because yesterday is gone, today will be over soon, and tomorrow isn’t promised.

Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
