While on this ride called “life”, you have to take the good with the bad, smile when you’re sad, love what you’ve got and remember what you had. Always forgive, but never forget. Learn from your mistakes, but never regret. People change. Things go wrong. Just remember, the ride goes on.
No matter what proportion we’d want life to hamper sometimes, it doesn’t. And it never will. We can’t slow it down, we can’t speed it up.
And regardless of what proportion we would like things to prevent for just us, give us a while to return to grips with what’s happening , this ride called “life” waits for nobody .
A few months ago, i used to be talking with a lover who had shared some things with me. She was upset because someone in our circle of friends had suddenly “changed”.
She just kept repeating, “I want things to travel back to the way they were, back once we were all so close. We all could ask one another about anything”.
I just listened and waited for her to speak it out. She had been particularly on the brink of this friend. that they had always considered one another best friends, but there have been big changes happening.
When she noticed I wasn’t saying anything, she asked me what i assumed . And, I even have to admit, when all the changes started happening, i used to be of an equivalent mindset.
But, now as i used to be talking together with her , I felt very differently.
While on this ride called “life”, you’ve got to require the great with the bad, smile when you’re sad, love what you’ve got and remember what you had. Always forgive, but always remember .
Learn from your mistakes, but never regret. People change. Things fail . Just remember, the ride goes on.
I began to inform her that life is all about change. We can’t control changes in somebody else . we will only control how we react to them.
Life isn’t always amazing. Sometimes it beats you up, breaks your heart and creates deep chasms of pain that last for an extended time, maybe for the remainder of your life.
The only constant about this ride called “life” is that it goes on. It doesn’t stop to offer you time to simply accept changes in somebody else . Always, always remember, the ride goes on.
Sending you blessings of affection and gratitude from Texas!
